UAE Roadmap is a practical information site about living and operating in the United Arab Emirates. If you found a mistake, have a question a guide does not cover, or want to suggest a topic, email is the way to reach the publisher.

This page exists so you know who publishes the site, what it covers, how to write in, and what we cannot do. We do not run a call centre, a walk-in desk, or a paid advisory desk.

What UAE Roadmap covers

The site is a set of independent guides, not a newsroom and not a government portal. The main subjects are:

• Business setup for people choosing mainland or freezone routes, licences, and first-year admin
• Banking for personal and company accounts, transfers, and the friction that often shows up after incorporation
• Residency visas for investor, employment, freelance, family, and related process steps such as Emirates ID
• Tax and operations for VAT, corporate tax, payroll, WPS, hiring, and the systems small operators actually have to run

What to include in the email

A short, specific email is easier to answer than a long case history. Please include:

• The URL of the page you are writing about, if the question is about a guide or an error on a page
• What you were trying to do, in one or two sentences (for example, open a company account, compare freezones, or check a VAT threshold)
• Useful context such as nationality, whether you already have a UAE company or visa, mainland or freezone if you know it, and the emirate if that matters
• The date or figure you think is wrong, if you are reporting an error, plus where you saw a different figure

You do not need to send passport scans, trade-licence files, bank statements, or other personal documents. We do not process applications and we do not need that material to correct a page or point you to an existing guide.

What we can help with

Email is useful when a page is outdated, a number looks wrong, a link is broken, or a common reader question is missing from the site. We also welcome topic suggestions where a practical UAE operating question is not covered yet.

If the answer already lives in a guide, we will usually point you there rather than rewrite it in the reply. That keeps the public pages as the source of record.

What we cannot help with

UAE Roadmap is an information resource, not a consultancy. We cannot give legal, tax, immigration, or financial advice for your personal situation. Nothing on this site, and nothing in an email reply, is a substitute for a licensed UAE professional.

• We cannot file licences, visas, VAT returns, or bank applications for you
• We cannot tell you which freezone, bank, or visa you should choose as a personal recommendation
• We cannot review contracts, term sheets, or private documents
• We cannot quote official fees, FX rates, or processing times that are not already sourced on the site
• We cannot intervene with a bank, freezone authority, or government portal on your behalf

For a specific case you will need a licensed UAE business-setup advisor, lawyer, tax agent, or the relevant authority. If you only need a starting map of the public guides, use start here.

Press, corrections, and partnerships

For a factual correction, use the same inbox and put the page URL in the first line. For a partnership or affiliate enquiry, say so clearly in the subject line. We do not sell rankings or paid placements in how we order options on comparison pages.

We do not accept guest posts that exist only to place a backlink. If you have a genuine correction from an official source, send the source.
